Locata in 2020 and beyond

Now a new year has begun, we felt it was a good time to send you updates on all the new products and innovative business tools we are working on. It’s going to be an exciting decade…

Housing Related Support (HRS) was released late in 2019 and has already been taken up by three partners. 

It is a highly flexible system and is being deployed very differently by each partner. They all have distinct local needs and require a different focus for each deployment.

For instance, we have been working with Monmouthshire County Council and their partners to deliver the HRS system with an added Time Sheeting Task.

This will allow Monmouthshire to track their various support providers, collect their time sheets and use them for invoices and payment through the system. HRS was initially launched in Cheshire East where it acts as a referral portal for 10 services from four different providers.

Within four weeks the new system had processed almost 500 applications for supported services (189 accommodation units and 155 floating support units) and placed more than 360 service users in support. In the meantime, North Devon asked us to develop the system to allow repeatable entries of a task and its questions.

This will be a part of the Temporary Accommodation Landlord module as repeatable entries within the same task are needed to work with repairs, maintenance work requests and certifications.

We are still developing this and may, in the future, roll this out across our HRS and HPA2 systems as many clients have told us that the ability to work on repeatable tasks and questions will be extremely useful when capturing data on clients within either system.
