New Lettings system going live in Cheshire East
Locata’s new Lettings system is going live in Cheshire East, where it will intially run alongside the existing CBL system to doubly ensure the integrity of the system.
The new system is designed to be a replacement for our current Choice Based Lettings product and is the culmination of more than a year’s development work.
Once the Lettings system has launched successfully in Cheshire East, it will be rolled out to the other councils who have already signed up early to our “early adopters” pricing model offer of £8,000 per partner.
However, we now appreciate that implementation of the upgrade to the new system is more complex than first thought. This means that for anyone signing up after 30 April 2023, the cost will be £12k per partner.
The code for the new system has been thoroughly tested for stability against our other Locata products and we are confident that it will have no effect on our other systems.
The process for implementation
The implementation process will be in two phases to lessen the impact of change on staff and allow a gradual change over to the new areas.
Schemes adopting the new system will also be able to initially run their existing CBL system in parallel.
Phase one of the implementation process will involve the delivery of the property and advertising areas. This will include:
- An introductory online overview session for users and super users
- Access to the Property screens
- Access to the Advertising screens
When phase one is embedded, Locata will deliver the customer and shortlisting areas, including:
- A further introductory online overview session for users and super users
- Access to the Customer screens
- Access to the Advertising screens
