A new enhancement that automatically hides cancelled tasks from an officer’s workflow list has been rolled out across the country to users of both HPA2 and Locata’s Housing Related Support (HRS) system.
The development was requested and paid for by Lewisham who wanted the enhancement on their HPA2 system, which has recently gone live.
This new functionality means that when officers view the system it will only show the active tasks down the left hand side.
However, officers can view any cancelled tasks by ticking the “show cancelled tasks” button.
Cancelled tasks might be those that have been created in error or those tasks within the workflow that are superfluous for a specific case.
The systems retain a history of all actions and information related to cancelled tasks that can be shown or reported on whenever required.
“Lewisham’s enhancement means that the workflow list will always hide the cancelled tasks when the page is opened,” said Locata’s Karen Courtney. “This will make the workflow list clearer, neater and much less cluttered for officers.”
